Privacy policy

Effective 12 October 2026. Meeting Notes ("the app") is a Slack app that keeps private notes for Google Calendar meetings.

What the app accesses

What the app stores

For each meeting with notes: the calendar event ID, meeting title, the date shown in the notes, and the ID and link of its Slack canvas; the meetings you hide; the note templates you create and pick; which meetings you were reminded about; your settings; and usage events (which features you use and when, without meeting titles or note content). OAuth tokens for Google and Slack are stored encrypted. The content of your notes stays in Slack; the app does not copy or store it.

How the data is used

Only to provide the features described above. The data is not sold, not shared with third parties, not used for advertising and not used to train AI models.

Meeting Notes' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Where it is stored

On servers of Railway (railway.com), the app's hosting provider. Error reports (the error and internal ids, without meeting titles or note content) are sent to Sentry (sentry.io).
